Cetta Pilati is a local Alphington artist graduating from RMIT University in 1992 with BFA majoring in Sculpture. Since 2016 she has continued to extend her knowledge and techniques with metal undertaking the studies of an Engineering (Heavy Fabrication) Cert IV at Melbourne Polytechnic since 2016.
Her art practice is characterised by a fusion of diverse mediums, marble mosaic and metal, linked through the process of using traditional techniques resulting in timeless contemporary works of art.
Cetta is committed to producing high-quality commissions, designing one-off artworks respectively for her client’s requirements. Artwork sizes range from large-scale to an intimate small-scale. Each piece achieved through meticulous attention to detail, quality and artistry.
Her studio encompasses creating artworks for sale/exhibitions, creating commissions, supplying marble mosaic kits, conducting studio/online workshops and housing a bespoke natural stone tesserae store catering mosaic enthusiasts throughout Australia & New Zealand.
