Clare is the founder of Swirl Art, offering art tutoring, community arts facilitation, and face and body painting. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and has a background in community education.
Clare teaches the short course ‘Artful Painting and Drawing’ at Alphington Community Centre, focusing on core painting and drawing skills. Each term is themed around an art genre, such as still life, portraiture or landscape, with students exploring mediums like acrylic, graphite, charcoal, ink, pastels and mixed media.
Clare is offering a taster workshop as part of Alphington Open Studios, giving the
community a chance to sample her classes and explore their creativity.
