Jane Haussegger

I design furnishings and homewares using recycled timbers and materials. From a background in Interiors, I was propelled to study the technical side of Furniture Design. I work from my home Workshop, creating designs by hand, in small-batch quantities. I’m grateful to bring each piece’s raw character and natural beauty to life a second time–sharing its unique story with the world. Sustainability, functionality and collaboration are at the heart of my process and ingrained through my range.

My 2023 collection is called ‘Connect’. Reflecting on moments in time when we wish to sit still, feel a gentle touch, observe nature, feel appreciated and loved… moments of connection that are comforting and true. I’ve created from my heart whilst embracing the past and refreshing the present with simple, earthed designs. This range includes candle holders, timber vessels, organic grazing boards and side tables that have evolved through sculptural play.

All designs are imperfectly perfect pieces, sustainably handcrafted with a love for detail.

To view my design process, product collections and learn about ‘new’ Workshop classes available in 2024, I’ll be exhibiting on Sunday 3rd December.
