Works on Paper

I am an artist and author who designs and makes stuff – often gardens, but I have been known to mess about with fabric, paper, wood and steel.

My works on paper – whether in the form of drawings, papercuts or prints – tend to reflect my love of flora and fauna and my passion for the Australian bush and gardens. Gardens both wild and cultivated provide stimulus for my artistic practice; I see gardens as a locus for nature and community. My linocuts and etchings celebrate the morphology of flowers, plants and wildlife, the colours of foliage, fungi and seedpods, as well as express my fascination with ecology and interspecies relationships.
